What are peptides?
Peptides are made from the same building blocks we are. These tiny building blocks are called amino acids, humans are made from only 20 different amino acids. Scientists discovered that linking specific amino acids together can create certain peptides which can be used as life saving medicines.
When someone is sick, for example, they have cancer they can take a peptide as a medicine. The peptide enters the body and starts searching for the cancer. Once they find it they can get to work and kill the cancer cells.
